Hospice by the Sea and Boca Respite Volunteers...Working Together
Paula Alderson is building a bridge between Hospice by the Sea and Boca Respite Volunteers. Paula wears two hats at once in accomplishing this. She is a valued member of the Boca Respite Volunteers Board of Directors and is also the Chief Strategic Officer of Hospice and Homecare by the Sea. Working together the strengths of each organization can assist the other with the end result of improving service for our community.

Joe Kraus, President of Stratis Business Systems is
providing software that will enhance the BRV office infra- structure and allow us to handle the multiple data aspects of the Young Caregiver Project .
However, it is only with the contribution from
HANDS ON TZEDAKAH, for a server that we could use the software and benefit! Volunteers Tim An- drasek and Bill Hartmann are getting it up and functioning |--it takes a team pulling together!

To see Gerri change for the better, to become more positive in her outlook on life, more sociable, displaying new art, and to know you played some part in that story is a beautiful thing.
No matter how tiny these acts of kindness bind us as humans. Good will goes a long way and is contagious. Gerri remains hopeful that we as volunteers will spread the work and that others out there will want to help make a positive change in another's life.
Side Note: During a couple of days after Wilma Maureen Burke provided hospitality and refuge for Gerri while she was without power. Thanks Maureen for taking an extra step! .
